Trista Dube: Anyone can create art, I want to highlight how beautiful even a first attempt can be. Making art together has the ability to foster a sense of community and resilience.

Pamela Cain: I want to focus on connecting with the community and creating a collaborative art piece.

Christina Mol: I am from a farming and biotechnology science background-- thinking of exploring the importance of soils to the planet with a fibre wall hanging incorporating knitting, felting, crochet and other techniques. SEE ART

Sarah Siska: My sewing practice is an act of slow resistance to the fast fashion industry and an attempt to incorporate more natural fibres and ecologically produced or salvaged materials into my life.

Vincent Parks: I care deeply about the climate crisis and would love to share my feelings.

Matylda Jasic: I enjoy working with dry felting, weaving, stained glass and acrylic paints. SEE ART

Irene Warmenhoven: Curious about my living environment and passionate about how precious this planet is. SEE ART

Mia Donato: My work may highlight the nature and water sources that I grew up next to, and potentially convey the anxiety that I feel when I think about climate change.

Nicole Sutherland: I hope that my work strikes a desire to come up close, and take a look at broad, thick strokes that somehow take on the wild, abstract side of nature. But then stepping back, I want the audience to see that the strokes do make order and they find beauty in my landscapes.

Kyra Keto: I volunteered to do photography and videography for the climate action group; doing it officially is a wonderful opportunity. SEE ART
