Artist Statement

Acrylic pour painting is using a fluid art technique, thinning paints with a poured medium and pouring the mixture onto a surface. I use a variety of surfaces such as canvas, tile, and wood in my works. From there I hand paint the main focal point and add any features in at this point depending on what the cells have created from the pour.
