Artist Statement
This research's main theme is to generate a plastic discourse that addresses the situation of child labor, with art being an instrument that contributes to raising social awareness. The creative process to achieve the product, through research to give context to the panorama around child labor, adds contributions from artists that resemble the subject in question in addition to the analysis of the different artistic currents that seek to reflect what is considered "real" from the perspective of each artist. Adapting the knowledge obtained within the investigation, the work is then produced, giving an overview of how the experience and analysis of the product were accomplished.
