Frank Janzen

Frank Janzen found a passion for lithographic printmaking late in his career. Frank’s personal work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in numerous locations.

A graduate from the Tamarind Institute of Albuquerque, USA., the only facility in the world to provide training in collaborative lithographic printmaking, this energetic artist, who has a studio in Pendleton, Washington, is well known for his work with well known and emerging artists from around the United States, in the state of the art print studio, Crow’s Shadow.

While his dedication to collaborative work has created a living legacy for the world of art,his personal work is exploratory and energized. Janzen has worked extensively with unique materials such as smoke to create impact in his work.

He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions around Eastern Washington and Oregon and was included in the Crow’s Shadow exhibition at the Pataka Museum in Wellington, New Zealand.
