Jenn Robins

“... the metal shimmers through gaps in the ink creating a slight suggestion of space behind the surface, or more poetically, as Robins describes it, a whisper. The metal sends out little flicks of light, darting out at you as you pass by, as you look; creating a little silent noise”. Christine Clarke Focus Magazine

Jenn is known for her work on paper and also for her proprietary process, a unique form of print on metal. Her highly individualized approach and command of diverse media has earned her much attention. She has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Britain, the United States, Japan and Canada.

While Jenn has taught in various art institutions, she currently gravitates to the arctic, where, by invitation, she teaches traditional Inuit printmaking to adults from the Inuit culture. She is also a freelance instructor who provides short courses for the University of Victoria.
